The Appeal

The Airstream Excella 500 Land Yacht is one of the most recognizable travel trailers ever produced. With its distinctive riveted aluminum body and aerodynamic silhouette, the Airstream has become an icon of American travel culture and is increasingly sought after in the UK and Europe.

This example was imported from the United States. It came with the seller's property in 2012 and underwent a substantial renovation in April 2019, which saw the entire interior stripped out and replaced with a new kitchen, bathroom, LED lighting, electric heater, solar panels with lithium batteries for off-grid use, new Corian countertops and new furniture and upholstery. The seller states that none of these amenities have ever been used.

Having been kept outdoors since the renovation, however, the travel trailer has suffered weather-related deterioration over the past seven years, and now offers an exciting prospect for restoration and renovation.
