Description
YSU 405 is an excellent example of the 3000 MkII body style, fully restored to a very high standard with just 1, 500 miles since. The MkII variant debuted a new triple carburettor engine with increased performance over the MkI and a new grille design whilst maintaining the elegant lines of early 3000s.
Finished in Colorado Red YSU 405 is very nicely detailed throughout with correctly anodised cockpit trims, original type Lucas headlamps and 60 spoke chrome wire wheels wearing Firestone tyres. Body condition is very good and all brightwork has a deep lustre. The panel gaps on this Healey line up very nicely as do the aforementioned cockpit trims. An original factory hardtop in Black is also included with the car, in very nice condition.
Inside this Healey is extremely smart, the Red piped Black interior has clearly been very well taken care of and the carpet is clean and of good fit. Silver 3 point belts have been fitted up front with 2-point silver belts additionally fitted in the rear. The car is provided with a excellent Black tonneau.
