Description
This 1970 Ford Cortina MkII has been uprated into Savage specification, with a Ford 3. 0-litre V6 engine and matching transmission, as developed and produced by Jeff Uren in period. To cope with the extra power, the car has also been upgraded with four-pot brake callipers, uprated suspension and uprated cooling system. The interior has been equipped with wooden dash, 4 gauge dash pod, bucket seats, sports steering wheel and ergonomic gear selector knob. The car was registered in June 1970 and is offered with the V5C, the 2022 MoT certificate and a large number of invoices and bills from recent years. Finished in Carnival Red with black interior, this is an excellent specimen of a Cortina Savage evocation, complete with the Savage S grill badge and V6 rear wing scripts.
