Description

AlFa Romeo Giulietta TI, second series, preserved in time, both interior and bodywork. In possession of the old registration book, black number plates and ASI Targa Oro homologation. In April 1954, the automobile market was enlivened by the entry of a new car with an attractive line and an attractive name: Giulietta, clearly referring to Shakespeare's play. Presented at the Turin Motor Show in 1955, it was the car of revival and success arrived. Strangely enough, the Sprint version was presented first: the coupé designed by Bertone, and only in 1955 was the saloon, which would contribute, along with the Fiat 600 and 1100 and the Lancia Appia, to motoring in Italy. Even the berlina, with 4 doors and 4 seats with steering wheel gearbox, proved to be extremely agile and brilliant, relaunching the image of the classic pre-war Alfa Romeo cars: good speed, road-holding, reliability and elegance. In 1959 and 1961 the bodywork was modified with re-styling interventions that kept the public's sympathy for this model alive and unchanged over the years, perpetuating its commercial success and fuelling its legend.
