Description
A rare survivor from Ford’s early ’60s lineup, this 1963 Consul Classic 116E is finished in Blue with a contrasting White roof and features its original Blue/ Grey interior. Showing just 35, 400 miles, it’s a beautifully preserved example of a seldom-seen model.
By 1962, the Consul Classic was upgraded with a 1498cc five-bearing engine and full synchromesh gearbox. Production ended in 1963, making this final-year car especially desirable. Garage-stored for many years and only brought out for shows, it remains in superb condition throughout.
A charming piece of British motoring history, ready to be enjoyed.
