This 996 GT3 RS is supplied with a rev range report which we have had carried out by Ninemeister Porsche Specialists.

We have also had the car inspected by a Porsche specialists and any jobs that needed doing have been carried out to ensure this car is on the button, this includes replacing the rear main oil rear, a new clutch kit.

We have had the car ice blasted and treated with wax oil.

The 996 generation was the first time Porsche ever created a GT3 and GT3RS version, making this car the origin story for the now world famous, track focussed 911 GT3RS cars.
Performance upgrades included Lightweighting: A strict weight-reduction program shaves 20 kg off the standard GT3's weight. This was achieved through:
A carbon-fiber bonnet and wing mirrors
A Perspex rear window
Reduced sound deadening
A single-mass flywheel
Enhanced aerodynamics: A large, adjustable carbon-fiber rear wing provides significant downforce to improve grip at speed. The front bumper also features exit vents for improved airflow.
Track-focused components: The car includes racing bucket seats, a factory-installed roll cage (for "Clubsport" models), and titanium components for the engine, suspension, and wheel nuts.

The car is powered by a naturally aspirated 3. 6-liter "Mezger" flat-six, derived from Porsche's Le Mans-winning GT1 race car. Though officially rated at 381 hp, most reviewers note that these engines actually produced over 400 hp. It delivers a mechanical, unfiltered sound and requires high revs (up to 8, 200 rpm) to deliver maximum performance.
