1998 Subaru Impreza 2000 Turbo AWD Wagon finished in brilliant red over grey / black interior.
Finding a low mileage / low owner genuine UK Subaru Impreza Wagon is becoming increasing hard with the majority of cars succumbing to rust or having been heavily modified and or crashed over the years.
This particular car formed part of a small and carefully curated collection of 1980’s and 1990 iconic cars and was owned by a friend of the garage, so when the opportunity came to purchase it we naturally jumped at the chance.
PROVENANCE
Originally supplied by Subaru main dealer Beechlawn Motors to Mr Campbell on the 19th June 1998, the car remained is his care until 13th February 2018 at which time it was sold to Authentic Autos of Lisburn.
The extensive history file contains a letter from Mr Cambell detailing his care and attention in maintaining the car and confirming it has always been dry stored when not in use, only fueled with super unleaded petrol and that it was fully wax oiled from new.
The letter also contains details of well-chosen period upgrades fitted during his tenure as shown below:

The second owner purchased the car from Authentic Autos on the 21st May 2018 at which time the car had covered a mere 33, 000 miles. During his ownership the car has always been dry stored and used as a fun weekend car. The car has now covered 40, 450 miles.
DESCRIPTION
The car is rust free and the bodywork is in fine order with a deep gloss finish and without any notable scratches or defects. For a car that is almost 30 years old it is quite exceptional. The interior is in equally nice condition with unworn seats and blemish free plastics and dashtop. There is a little wear to the top of the steering wheel which is to be expected of a car of this age.
The car drives exactly as you would expect with ferocious power once the Turbo kicks in, and it sounds epic. The clutch is light and progressive and the gearbox is a delight to use with short positive changes.
VECHILE PREPARATION
Upon sale and before delivery to its next owner we will carry out a major service to manufactures specification using genuine Subaru parts and treat the underside to a full Lanoguard application.
