Its four-carburettor dual-choke Weber engine delivers a powerful and captivating exhaust note above 4000 rpm, rising to a roar at 7700 rpm, characteristic of this model fresh from the factory in 1978, before fuel injection was introduced on the Ferrari 308 in 1980.
