Description
This is a very nice example of the highly desirable MGB, first registered in September 1972, and looking very smart in its Mallard Green coachwork with black interior. The car has been in the same ownership for four years, and sadly, the time for sale has now come. The car has obviously been restored in the recent past, as can be seen from the excellent underside including new sills etc. The paintwork is generally good, with just a few age-related marks. The panels all fit well with good door gaps, and well-fitting boot and bonnet. The interior, which is mainly to the original specification is again, good, including seats and door cards, and we have just fitted some brand new, original style MG rubber floor mats (since the walk-round video). The vinyl hood looks to be fairly new with clear Perspex and a zip-out rear window. Under the bonnet is clean and tidy and the boot area is nicely painted. The underneath, as referenced above, is very clean and tidy and showing good structure. The refurbished Rostyle wheels have matching tyres. A few nice extras include the walnut dashboard, Moto-Lita steering wheel, chrome luggage rack and electric cut-out switch. The car starts easily with good, strong engine, providing plenty of power, good oil pressure and no overheating. This is a lovely old MGB, so don’t miss it. Paperwork includes V5C, MOT to 29/ 3/ 27, service invoices dating back to 2016 and original handbook.
