As agricultural requirements grew in the 1950s, so did the Fordson tractor range. The Power Major was a direct successor to the E1A Fordson Major, with a bump to its horsepower and transmission. That 52hp was just the ticket for all manner of pastoral work, and it became a machine synonymous with the British countryside for many.
This 1958 example has been cherished by its current owner for approximately 7 years, during which time it has been kept garaged and only taken to local shows. This road-registered Power Major appears in smart condition for its age and would make a fine addition to any vintage tractor collection - and is more than hard-wearing and well-supported enough to be your first classic tractor, too.
