Legendary Norton-Triumph hybrid, adored by motorcycle enthusiasts
Professionally restored in 2014
Regular maintenance despite limited recent use
The appeal
The Tritonis is a legendary hybrid in motorcycle history, combining Norton's iconic "Featherbed" frame with Triumph's powerful parallel-twin engine to create a café racer that offered the best of both British manufacturers. Its name is, of course, a TriumphandNorton portmanteau.
This striking 650cc example from 1958 stands out for its professional restoration completed in 2014 and its careful maintenance thereafter. This bike represents a rare opportunity to acquire a piece of British motoring heritage from the years... in very good condition.
This sale is subject to Car & Classic Conditions. By making a bid and/or offer, you also agree to the following:
✓ The seller is registered as a private seller, which means that consumer rights from European consumer protection law do not apply. However, you are still covered by Car & Classic's General Terms and Conditions...
✓ We require payment of a non-refundable fee if you are the lucky winning bidder at the sale or if your bid is accepted. Please refer to our helpful FAQs and FAQ's and T&C's for specific fees.
✓ This vehicle is "Sold As Seen", on an "As Is Where Is" basis and without warranty. Photos and descriptions are for guidance only and it is customary to carry out a full vehicle inspection prior to purchase for your peace of mind.
✓ VAT included in buyer's costs. VAT may or may not be included in the final auction or offer price, as indicated in the advert.
✓ We want a smooth transaction as much as you do and, as such, we put UK-registered cars and motorcycles through an online HPI check to verify that they have no insurance traces related to damage or theft, and that there is no financing in progress, allowing you to bid with confidence.
✓ We also check whether vehicles are declared as wiped out as part of a total insurance claim at the time the ad goes live, and usefully provide crush category labels (Cat C/D/S/N) for your assistance. However, the presence or absence of a label does not guarantee the status of the vehicle and it is always best to carry out your own full check of the vehicle's history before making an offer.
✓ Buyers are responsible for vehicle collection
or delivery. Importing vehicles may involve additional customs duties and import taxes, so it's worth checking in advance. It is the bidder's responsibility to confirm import eligibility prior to purchase.
