The Appeal
While its competitors were pushing luxury, Toyota kept its go-anywhere Land Cruiser functional and straightforward. As this 1985 J60 proves.
Factory standard in Alpine White with grey fabric interior, it is a well-kept HJ60 4L diesel that has recently arrived in the UK from Germany. Now UK-registered and with a lengthy MOT to December 2025, it is in good condition and benefits from a raft of recent improvements.
The work includes fitting a high specification Terrain Tamer kit that cost £2,500 in parts alone. There is also a new battery and a recent service. It will be eligible for Historic Vehicle status from 1st April 2026.
