The appeal

Dominating the World Rally Championship for much of the late 1980s and early 1990s, the Lancia Delta Integrale is one of the most successful rally cars in the history of the sport. Featuring all-wheel drive and a turbocharged twin-cam engine, the agile Delta helped Lancia win the Manufacturers' Championship no less than six times in a row!

This 1988 Delta Integrale 8S was extensively prepared to Group A specifications by the renowned Faillace Racing in Corsica. It was stripped down to the chassis and rebuilt from scratch, incorporating many period competition features and an enviable mechanical specification. Since then, the Lancia has competed in prestigious events such as the Mont Blanc Rally and the Tour of Corsica. With a new engine installed in 2023 and regular servicing between competitions provided by Hayet Sport, this car is ready to continue competing.

Resplendent in a magnificent Martini livery, reminiscent of the golden age of the World Rally Championship, this Integrale looks great. Built from a bare shell, the seller can guarantee that it is corrosion-free and ready to race.

Befitting a competition car still regularly used on all types of surface, this Lancia has naturally accumulated a few small scars on the exterior, but in our opinion, they add to the Lancia's authenticity as a tried and tested rally car. Inside, we find the coveted Abarth dashboard and all the usual features you'd find in a rally-ready Integrale back in the day. We are assured that all safety equipment is currently up to date, meaning the car can be used immediately in VHC/VHRS events.

Having already proved its worth on a number of historic rallies, this Delta is in excellent condition, currently producing 244bhp on the test bench. Regularly serviced by rally specialists Hayet Sport between competitions, it is reported to be in very good condition, especially with the engine currently installed, which is fairly recent.

The seller assures us that it is ready to drive, performing very well, with no unwanted noises or apparent faults.
