The Appeal
When new, Ferrari’s 456 V12 GT, with its Daytona-esque lines, was its most expensive car. This one retailed at an eye-watering £182,000 - that’s equivalent to £340,763 now. No wonder that just 650 of these improved ‘Modificata’ GTA cars left the works.
This car has subsequently led a very cossetted life as befits such a collectable model. In the hands of just four keepers in 25 years, one of those titled and for 20 years, this Blu Tour De France 456M GTA has covered a mere 37,424 miles and yet has a history file that implies much higher usage.
Since March 2024 it has had £18,500 invested, including new cambelts, servicing, paint refresh, trim work, front suspension attention and an upgraded sound system. Not surprisingly, the MOT runs to March 2026 with no advisories.
In a very appealing colour combination and very good condition indeed, this is a good opportunity to acquire a great example of one of Ferrari’s best GTs.
