The Appeal
If you wanted a real, rugged workhorse or a valiant off-road warrior, chances are the Defender wasn't too far from your mind. Over a tenure exceeding two decades, these boxy 4x4s defined the market and became synonymous with the pastoral landscape. They've proven easy to maintain, easy to upgrade and easy to look after, which no doubt goes some way to explain their perennial modern classic status.
This particular example has been in the same family's ownership for approximately a decade, during which time it has received considerable investment and care. Having spent most of its life in southern France before being brought back to the UK, this Defender has been thoughtfully upgraded with a host of practical additions including a Patriot roof rack, Masai belly plate protector, and Warrior winch system.
