The Appeal
While by 2009 the traditional Issigonis-penned Mini was off the market, it had been fifty years since its introduction - and was well worthy of celebration. This was the Special Edition to celebrate, recontextualising half-a-century of the cherished little nameplate for the cherished little city car. It was a whole new, unique colourway - Hot Chocolate metallic paint mapped up with Toffee leather upholstery, and, of course, exclusive 50th-anniversary badging.
This 2009 example carries those special features nicely, with remarkably low mileage for its age, just two former registered keepers, and its original cache of handbooks and manuals.
