The Appeal
The Vanquish does what it says on the tin. Lighter, faster and even more engaging than the more regular models, this aluminium and carbon fibre technological tour de force remains one of Aston Martin’s most desirable recent models.
The key to any Vanquish purchase is maintenance and specification. The current keeper of this car, who is a serial marque collector, acquired it in 2022 after looking at many examples. This one’s Q-Special Morning Frost (white) paintwork, carbon pack and highly optioned quilted Obsidian Black interior made it stand out. They are qualities that, as the photos show, still do.
Then there is the maintenance records. To 2022, the car was serviced regularly by Aston Martin irrespective of mileage. Since then the vendor has undertaken servicing himself in his own workshop, reasoning that he has more time and concern for detail than a main dealer may expend on routine servicing. He tells us that he has ‘over serviced’ the car, namely in excess of factory requirements, with the last work in December 2024, less than 1,000 miles ago.
Thanks to the low mileage, comprehensive PPF coverage and meticulous maintenance, this is a very well-presented car. The MOT confirms the point, running to August 2026 with no advisories.
When you buy a car like this you want the reassurance that it has been looked after by the previous keepers. The photos and the history file confirm this car fits that requirement.
The vendor says:
“Driving this car is a truly special place to be. It has been my fourth Aston Martin.
This was their flagship car on launch and without doubt represents the pinnacle of the marque. My whole family have enjoyed it enormously and will be very sad to see it go.”

“Everything works as expected. Obsidian black with the 'hour-glass' stitching, which was a Vanquish signature design and a pre-requisite for me. Extras include carbon waterfall dash and 'shadow pack' switchgear, meaning they are a darker finish than the usual bright. Heated and ventilated seats, another expensive option. Bang and Olufsen stereo is phenomenal. Bluetooth connectivity means you can stream music and map directions from your phone.”
The Mechanics
- 5,935cc V12 engine
- 6spd automatic transmission
- CCM brakes in good condition with plenty of pad life remaining
- Full service history with recent work since 2022 by the seller described below
- Last serviced in December 2024 less than 1,000 miles ago
- Car appears to be in fine fettle with no faults according to the seller
- No advisories on current MOT
The vendor says:
“Last 2 services done by me - I have a car lift and fully stocked garage, and service all my own vehicles. I believe I can do a more thorough job as I am not 'on the clock' and as such take time to wash and clean under trays and wheel arch liners, as well as attending to any preventive work. For example, I replaced all the under tray bolts with stainless steel ones.
“As a former military man I have a tendency to 'over-service', so the air and pollen filters are replaced alongside the oil and filter. Pollen filters have been upgraded to active carbon.”
