here is our Morris Minor Traveller. manufactured in 1971, and is a genuine black model with red interior.
I have been reliably informed that this was one of the vehicles destined for use by the Royal navy and I believe only 1 of 55 models, all finished in gloss black.
It was not registered for UK use until 1977, hence the R-registration, which makes it even more special!!! and so has very little use on British roads.
Car has travelled only 48, 000 miles approx. The underside has been rebuilt and wood is perfect with no rot or nasty black damp.
all wings are correct steel, and paintwork is good although there is some surface only rust to edge of rear wings and doors, all easily put right. I was told that this has been bought a few years back for well over £7000, so grab a real bargain.
Interior is lovely and so is headlining etc. I understand the engine has been reconditioned at some point.
Has 12months MOT and free road tax.
