Rolling restoration, van is in daily use and is very reliable and cheap to run, ideal for small business. Historic free tax and mot until March 2011. New red carpets fitted (Newton Commercial) and modern seat belts (original static belts included), steel front wings and battery new last year, brake hoses and all fittings replaced, copper brake pipes and fuel line and alternator conversion. Cab floors and all sill pannels have been replaced.
Work still to be done. Paintwork is a bit rough and the bodywork has been a bit battered over the last 44 years, but is solid with no major rust. Engine smokes from exhaust on start up, but clears after a few minuits, drips a bit of oil from front pulley (I have a new oil seal but have not got round to fitting it), engine is nice and lively (original 1098). Fuel guage not working (break/ loose connextion in wire to tank, not found where yet), bulb gone in indicator stork (green light working in speedo), no key for back doors so cannot lock. Apart from the above, everything else is in good working order.
