The appeal
The Touring Spider 2000 is the very definition of “dolce vita”: a superb two-seat convertible that seems tailor-made for cruising the cliffs of the south of France or the winding roads along the Amalfi coast.
Truly coachbuilt cars, these models were expensive and only 3,443 examples were produced. They use the 1900-model architecture, fitted with a bored-out 2L version of the four‑cylinder engine.
This 1960 example is particularly elegant in its “Bianco” livery with a black interior. It presents well thanks to a full repaint carried out more than twenty years ago. The interior is well kept and pleasantly original, not restored. Under the bonnet sits a rebuilt engine.
