Appeal
The Touring Spider 2000 is the very definition of “dolce vita”: a stunning two-seat convertible that seems tailor-made for cruising the Provençal coastal road cliffs or winding routes along the Amalfi coast.
Genuine coachbuilt cars, these models were expensive and only 3,443 examples were produced. They use the 1900-model architecture, equipped with a rebored 2L version of the four-cylinder engine.
This 1960 example is especially elegant in its “Bianco” livery with a black interior. It looks well thanks to a full repaint done over twenty years ago. The cabin is well maintained and pleasantly original, not restored. Under the hood lies a rebuilt engine.
