The Appeal
The early 1970s Dodge D100 is a legend in the world of American pickups - wide, imposing and unmistakably purposeful. As a platform for custom builds, few trucks carry the same visual weight or kerb appeal, and this extensively modified 1972 example is a fantastic ambassador.
Powered by a Ford V8 fitted with a Comp Cams camshaft and Weiand intake manifold, this D100 starts, runs and drives with a characterful, lumpy idle that leaves no doubt about what lies under the bonnet. A previous owner spent approximately three years extensively rebuilding the truck, and the current owner has continued to invest in it. It also carries notable provenance, having been previously owned by Jamie FYD and featured across numerous videos on his YouTube channel.
The truck now comes to us with some further work required before it can return to the road proper. Once this work is completed, we're sure it'll prove a very rewarding machine!DSC02700 Alex.jpeg8.43 MB

✓ We want a smooth transaction just as much as you do and as such we run all UK-registered cars and motorbikes for sale on Car & Classic through an online HPI check to verify that they show no insurance database markers for damage or theft, and have no finance owing, allowing you to bid with confidence.
✓ We also check whether vehicles are recorded as being written off as part of an insurance total loss claim at the time an advert is placed on Car & Classic and we helpfully provide write-off category labels (Cat C/D/S/N) for your assistance. However, the presence or absence of a label does not guarantee the vehicle’s status and it is always worthwhile carrying out your own full vehicle history check before making an offer on a vehicle.
✓ Buyers are responsible for vehicle collection
