The Appeal
The W203 C32 hits the sweet spot in the C-Class AMG’s development. More responsive and better balanced than the earlier C43, more tunable and stealthy than the C55, it’s also a much more luxurious and understated alternative to the M3. And yet, with 60mph arriving from standstill in 5 seconds, it’s as quick as a 996.
These are rare cars and often haven't been as well looked after as one might hope. This smart 2002 Bright Blue metallic car looks different and appears to be largely standard. It shows low mileage from new, supported by the available service history. There are a few light cosmetic marks to note in photos, but arguably they could be lived with.
The car was originally registered in Ireland and arrived in the UK in 2014, and has had just three keepers since. The vendor tells us that it was serviced in late 2025 and has been on SORN in recent months. We’re told the engine and gearbox perform as they should, and the brake discs and pads are almost new. The car is said to be in very good order for its age, with a small rust bubble on one front wing and a few minor rust spots on the roof noted by the seller. Inside, the interior is also reported to be in very good condition overall, aside from a slight drop in the rear section of the headlining.
The vendor says:
“It is an absolutely amazing car to own and drive, the last of the V6 supercharged cars that go under the radar, but it is a wolf in sheep's clothing. Not to be underestimated, it does 0- 60 in 5.2 seconds, same as the Porsche 911 996/997. 355bhp and very cheap to run.”
