Description
Registered January 1964, Light green with green upholstery. 4 speed manual transmission. Optional power steering , front Irvin seat belts, overdrive and Michelin X radial tyres fitted.
Complete brake overhaul last year, drives and stops exceptionally well. Quiet smooth 6 cylinder 3 litre engine, 4 speed + overdrive transmission which works seamlessly. All the instruments , switches, lights and controls work as they should with the exception of the period radio which I've never bothered to investigate. It might work if connected. Clock is a bit temperamental in cold weather. Overall it has been 100% reliable since I have known it- even on the coldest winter day it fires up first turn of the key. Has a superb heater - much appreciated last winter. Structure is in good condition having had some good quality welded repairs over the years. Is well weatherproofed with new window seals, boot seal and screen seal. Gets lots of admiring attention.
Improvement areas : It would benefit from a re-spray. Shines up quite well but there are a number of blemishes and discolouration all over Chrome is much the same.. Leather needs recolouring, polishing and a new panel on the drivers seat
I have used this as my daily wheels whilst the coupe's were off the road. As far as I know this has been in daily use for all of its fifty four years Mileage says 47k. It has been regularly serviced and maintained, MoT and tax exempt.
Terms and Conditions I'm in no great rush to sell it, I'd prefer to pass it on to a P5 club member as , with a bit more TLC it will go on for years and years. There's only 255 of these cars left and I've got three of them!. Cleared funds before collection card , cash, cheque, bank transfer, sterling or euros.
