- Magnificent example of the popular post-war Chevys
A plus
The immediate post-war years were an excellent time to be an American car buyer. Manufacturers like Chevrolet were getting creative, starting to introduce the dynamism and style that made the models of the 50s and 60s so attractive.
While some of these newer cars veered towards excess, older cars like this lovely Fleetline stayed on the right side of style. Looking at its smart two-tone green paintwork, it's easy to see why these cars accounted for the bulk of Chevy's sales in the immediate post-war years.
These vehicles were powered by Chevrolet's innovative 'Stovebolt' six-cylinder engine. They are now rare on European roads, especially in such pristine condition as this.
These large, practical cars are particularly easy to drive, making this one perfect for a road trip, with the journey made comfortable and relaxing - or simply to enjoy locally with family and friends.
