The Appeal
Owing to their rugged construction, straightforward engineering and immense off-road capability, Series Land Rovers are among the most usable classics around. They’re well-suited to Britain's potholed roads, simple to maintain and a useful addition to any driveway, as well as being enormous fun when laden with family and friends as you amble along to your favourite pub on a sunny Sunday afternoon.
Here we have a particularly well-sorted example - a 1962 Series IIA which has been subject to a significant quantity of professional work during recent years. While its appearance has been updated in the past to resemble a Series III (1971-84), this Land Rover is much older and benefits from road tax/MOT exemption as well as being ULEZ compliant.
