The Appeal

With its clever ‘cab over’ design and rugged mechanicals, the Type 2 did for camping and commerce what the Beetle did for families. Many have been converted into campers so it is pleasing to find one like this, an original eight seater bus.
It was extensively restored by the previous owner. As a result it is in very good condition, sporting a factory-correct two-tone colour scheme and matching interior. The vendor recently acquired it and has fitted a new engine and battery.
As stylish as these pretty vans can be, this great bus is very tempting.
