Plymouth’s Belvedere was a very clever piece of automotive engineering. Beneath its boxy, sober bodywork lay the heart of a muscle car thanks to the choice of some potent V8s.
A wide range of body styles, trim levels and engines were available, giving family buyers the opportunity to personalise their purchase. Here we have a very smart Belvedere I 2 door hard top coupe equipped with the firm’s 180hp 273CI 4.5litre V8.
It is quite a find, a very original and unmodified car that shows why these models were so popular in period. Finished in classy dark blue with matching interior it is Dutch registered and comes to market with a new APK. We are told this technical inspection has no expiry date due to the car’s age.
