The Appeal
Powerful 4.2litre engine, relaxing automatic gearbox and sumptuous Daimler luxury. All these qualities kept the Mk2-based Sovereign in production even after the XJ6 arrived.
They also make these cars perfect for modern classic car tours and road trips. With its recently completed engine and gearbox overhaul and reconditioned grey leather interior, this ‘67 Sovereign is a very smartly presented and mechanically durable example.
It is usefully MOT and tax exempt but comes with the reassurance of a long, advisory-free MOT. These upmarket Jaguars are both usable and rewarding; here is a chance to benefit from all the work and investment that this one has received.
The History and Paperwork
- First registered 22nd February 1967
- One of the first Daimler Sovereigns built
