The Appeal
The Morris Minor is one of the most influential cars that Britain ever built. Austere, charming in style and carrying a distinctive milieu that only the old days of BMC could pull off, there's only one variant that blows the original out of the water - that being the legendary little Estate car, wood-sidled and versatile - the Morris Minor Traveller.
These unmistakable cars continue to raise smiles and nostalgia for pedestrian and motorist alike, and is it really any wonder? There's a real rustic elegance to the Traveller that the already personable Minor couldn't quite capture, and the car was soon being picked up in its droves.
This particularly fine '68 Traveller comes to us with a fresh MOT, an impressive paperwork file and a stock of spare parts. The engine's tuned, it's carrying a five-speed transmission, and it's even sat on a full set of Minilights. It's a deeply impressive classic that we're expecting to garner plenty of attention at auction.
