The Appeal

Introduced in 1967 as a combatant against the Ford Mustang - the results of which are still debated by some - the Pontiac Firebird is a superb car in its own right. With distinctive Coke bottle styling and a streamlined, bumperless profile, the car's styling was more flamboyant than the Mustang, and certainly became a headturner. Alas, it ended production in 1969 - but the dedicated fanbase never went away.

This fabulous 1968 example, with its powerful 350 V8 engine and automatic transmission, offers a thrilling driving experience. This particular Firebird has been well cared for, with a partial overhaul of the engine and transmission just 4 years ago. If you've ever wanted get behind the wheel of some classic American muscle, this is the perfect opportunity.
