The Appeal
Any E-Type is a popular collector’s dream, but the Series 2 is the car you can both admire and properly use. These short-lived models retained the classic shape but got improved ergonomics and more comfortable cabins. As such, they make perfect touring cars.
This car, classically finished in red, was one of the first Series 2 cars off the line and the fourth car built in 1969. It has been cherished by the current registered keeper for 18 years. Work prior to sale has included a repaint, new chrome wire wheels, new front bumper and an interior refresh.
Despite very sparing use under his custodianship, it has been serviced regularly by specialists, most recently in April 2024, and received repairs to the bodywork as required. It has also been subject to a voluntary MOT, which gives the buyer added transparency and reassurance. The last test ran to April 2025 and contained no advisories.

Alongside the extensive work above, the car comes to market with fresh service, attention to the brakes and clutch system and new tyres. The car is said to be in great mechanical health and retains its correct triple carburettor, 265bhp set up. A good E-Type is on many enthusiasts’ wish list, here’s exactly that.
