The Appeal

One of the most successful cars of the century, the Morris Minor is very similar to its successor - the Mini - in multiple respects. Effortlessly English, easy to run and unfussy, these cars were a perfect match for the post-war UK Motorist. Everything about the car felt characterful and friendly, and it soon became synonymous with the British network. The Minor 1000 was introduced for the then-new motorways, and to this day manages to hold its own comfortably.

The Traveller is arguably the most desirable variant of the Minor 1000. With its fabulous estate bodywork and distinctive wood panelling, these British station wagons still raise plenty of smiles on the road, and still prove highly practical.

This particular example is notable for its remarkably low mileage of 40,850 miles and a comprehensive restoration that has seen only 1,000 miles of use since. The car's Almond Green exterior and Porcelain Green interior present a charming aesthetic that's loaded with classic English milieu.

The car's history is well-documented, with records dating back to its first service. It has been meticulously maintained, with regular services and the use of high-quality oil and premium petrol. The car's condition, both mechanically and aesthetically, has let to it much-lauded status at The Warren Classic Car Concours, further demonstrating its appeal.
