The Appeal

The A110 was France's answer to the 911. Like its rival, it was light and nimble so it could extract the potential from its small engines. It proved so popular and long-lived that when Renault recently wanted to relaunch the Alpine brand, it naturally chose the A110 as its starting point.

The V85 1300 was available from January 1970 and firmly reflected these original qualities. With 81 horsepower available, these cars are still as popular as ever with enthusiasts.

Professionally restored in 2010, a job that included new bodywork, paintwork and engine, this 'Alpine Blue' coloured V85 is in excellent condition. It has clearly been cared for, as confirmed by the extensive history file, and is registered as a collector's vehicle in France. An independent inspection dated May 2023 is available to prospective buyers.

Whether it's to take part in classic car rallies or simply to enjoy driving this classic car, this A110 has plenty to offer.
