The Appeal
The first two generations of the 5-Series were good, but the E34 was very good. It is the car that seriously kick-started BMW’s executive car reign. The V8 540i is the choice of aficionados.
The M5 may be quicker, but not by much. Instead the 540i is loved because it blends 282bhp urge with the sort of cossetting luxury that executive buyers value.

- If your maximum bid is equal to or below the reserve price, your maximum bid will be applied in full if you are the highest bidder.
- If you are the highest bidder and place a maximum bid above the reserve, we will automatically put in the reserve as your first bid.
