THE APPEAL

With its lightweight fibreglass body and spritely 1,588cc engine, the Lotus Elan is an excellent British roadster that embodies the thrill of driving. Offering owners an engaging, raw driving experience, the M100 was developed to revive the Elan name. Vigorous testing and millions of pounds went into its development but due to difficult competition, only approximately 3,855 cars were sold.

Widely reviewed as an agile, hair-raising, precision missile, the Elan's lightweight body and rigid chassis allow the car to corner flawlessly, plus its exceptionally robust, Isuzu-built, Lotus-amplified, engine shoots the car from standstill to 60mph in just over 6 seconds.

This 1992 model has been in the care of three individuals over its 31 years on the road, with the current owner having the pleasure since 2004. It's presented exceptionally and accompanied by an excellent maintenance record and original manufacture book pack.

Honestly, the M100 Elan deserves so much more attention. 90s good looks, incredible performance and it's pretty exclusive too, add in the open-top element and you've got all the ingredients for a great fun-seeking, thrill-providing sports car.

This example has been cherished, meticulously maintained, kept garaged and used in recent years only occasionally, making it a very tempting option!
