The Appeal

Cheney Racing Bikes, a distinguished British motorcycle manufacturer, stands tall as a premier builder renowned for crafting top-tier high-performance motocross bikes.
Founded by Eric Cheney, a seasoned veteran with over 65 years of expertise in motorcycle construction. The legacy now thrives under the guidance of his son, Simon, where every Cheney bike is meticulously handcrafted to the utmost standards, requiring approximately 400 man-hours of dedicated craftsmanship to reach completion.
This particular bike is somewhat of a one-off. It was built for Simon by his father, but at the time, Simon wasn’t keen on riding it, so it was used by Malcolm Dearn, who was sponsored by Cheney Racing for several years.
It has had a self-generating ignition system installed, but the original parts are included to return it back to the original Cheney race spec.
