The Yamaha SR 500 was launched in 1978 and was, by and large, a road-going version of the Japanese marque's popular XT 500. With a big bore engine and distinctive British heritage styling, it was a resounding success and remained in production until 1999 with very few changes throughout its life.
This 1994 Yamaha SR 500 has been tastefully modified as a Café-Racer. The LSL polished aluminium tank, rear controls and seat add a unique touch to the bike, while the original engine and carburettor have been well looked after, with the addition of a high flow oil line for the upper engine and a new chain sprocket kit.
