The Appeal
Japan is a bit of a treasure trove for fabulous British cars. Thanks to the lack of salt on their roads, there's a steady flow of classics returning to the UK in remarkable order, offering a great opportunity for enthusiasts. Jaguar is particularly well-presented in these line ups, and this XKR is no exception.
A fabulous example of Jaguar's legendary grand tourer, this car has been maintained very well - evidenced by a full Japanese service history. Since arriving in the UK in 2015, it's had three keepers and still appears in fine order - having been used sparingly and kept in fine fettle by every keeper.
History and Paperwork
- First registered in March 1999 and exported to Jaguar Cars Tokyo

- Comes with a dust cover (4 years old) and a cream hood cover for use when the hood is down
- Underside of the car was wax-oiled in 2020 for added protection
- All 4 tyres have been replaced
- Interior appears in smart condition for its age, with the leather seats being in fine fettle
- Wood veneers in fine order
- All instruments are clean and legible
- Carpets look in good overall order
- CD and tape player have never been used, but the radio works
- Air conditioning system doesn't work, though the vendor notes it's never been required
