The Appeal
The E39 came at a sweet spot in motoring development, where technology neatly complemented rather than replaced driver engagement. That is great news for BMW enthusiasts because engagement is what the E39 is all about.
This well regarded car came in a variety of flavours, of which the M54 straight six 530 is particularly appealing. It delivers decent performance and economy and the engine is a peach. Estate versions add a level of boxy practicality that makes them perfect as daily drivers.
This much-loved 530 Sport is notable for its very good condition and regular maintenance. It has been serviced regularly, with recent changes to the engine and gearbox oil and filters to ensure it runs well.
