The Appeal
When it came to replacing the Mk1 MX-5, Mazda needed to do little. Nine years on this little roadster remained the benchmark on which the competition tried and generally failed to improve. The new car was as nimble, tactile and engaging as the original, but with added structural rigidity and improved safety.
Like the Mk1, the NB was available with a large range of options and special editions. This 2003 car is one of the prettiest we’ve seen in a while, thanks in large part to its well kept Garnet burgundy metallic paintwork. It is paired with a beige leather interior accented with wood trim, wheel and gear knob.
The vendor acquired the car in 2018 and tells us that it has always been garaged between uses. It has been regularly serviced and comes with the reassurance of a lengthy Controle Technique certificate that is valid to April 2028.
