The 530i has a sleek and timeless design which features a relatively conservative and understated appearance, which is typical of the 5 series.
The 530i is known for its sportiness and precise handling, with well-tuned suspension that offers a comfortable ride whilst maintaining excellent cornering capabilities. It’s powered by the infamous M57 engine that is known for being incredibly durable, especially when it has been as well maintained like this particular example has.

Interior trim is Aluminium cube.
Black Dakota sports seats which look in excellent condition, as does the rear bench.
As does the M leather steering wheel which looks well with the BMW badge front and centre.
The switches and electronics within the vehicle are said to be working as they should. It’s worth mentioning at the time of shooting the CCC iDrive system would not boot fully.
Excellent condition door cards, dash board and headlining with no marks, damage or discolouration that we noted.
Overall, a well presented modern interior with low signs of wear and all the equipment you could want.
THE EXTERIOR
This 530i is finished in Silber-grau metallic.
In the sunlight the metallic paintwork looks fantastic.
Optional extras include: M Sports package, Shadow line exterior trim, M aerodynamic package, parking distance control (PDC) front and rear and adaptive xenon headlights.
The overall presentation of the bodywork is okay but there are imperfections to note.
Front bumper and front offside wing has some damage.
NSR arch has a mark that we noticed.
The alloy wheels would benefit from a refurb as all four are showing signs of damage.
The glass and sills are in overall good condition and are holding up well.
Light lenses on the front of the vehicle are clear and free from fading or sun damage. The same can be said for the rear lights.
THE MECHANICS
Well looked after M57 straight six engine.
The engine produces approximately 225 horsepower and 214 lb-ft of torque.
Starts and runs well, with no reported mechanical issues to note.
The gearbox is incredibly smooth. It slides into its required gates well with no crunching or grinding and cycles through the gears well when out on the road.
SUMMARY
A fine, well specced and nice example of a 5 series saloon. There are a few scars but to make note of but If you can overlook that then this 530i BMW is ready to offer you the ultimate driving experience.
