The Appeal
The modern, BMW-built Mini may not be quite as compact as the classic car that it inspired, but it did a fabulous job of modernising that winning formula. Now, after nearly 25 years, they're beginning to settle comfortably into their own classic status, and have never been more desirable - after all, later cars just seem to have gotten bigger and bigger, and arguably lost the spirit.
This Mini Cooper S is a great prospect, then. Carrying the earlier, supercharged engine - with a stage 1 tuning kit - it's every bit the frenetic little hot-hatch you'd expect, and has recently undergone some remedial work to leave it sitting at its best. This fabulous future classic is ready and waiting to go.
