Four seater "limousine" version with the luxury option of reclining seats and centre console with amenities
THE APPEAL
To drive, or not to drive. That's the question you’ll be asking yourself with the Flying Spur on a daily basis.
As a driver, you’ll enjoy operating the brutish British 6L twin turbo W12 engine, while being surrounded by comfort and convenience.
As a rear passenger, luxury is taken to another level, with enormous amounts of space and endless comforts, such as your own climate controls, screens for your DVDs in the headrests and electronic adjustable seats that are more satisfying and relaxing than a week in the Maldives.
Bentley are the leaders of combining power and luxury and this car is their best representation of that ultimate perfection.
THE HISTORY AND PAPERWORK
One owner
This Flying Spur has been in the ownership of a single individual who purchased the car in January 2006.
While they have enjoyed owning it tremendously it was purchased not to be driven by themselves but for them to be driven in, taxied to and from business meetings and airports during their professional life.
The paperwork present includes stamped original service book, plus recent invoices totalling £3,500 from Bentley Bristol who carried out a pre-sale check and advised the owner of any work that might need doing to present it in the best possible light. This work was then completed accordingly.
THE INTERIOR
Sublime interior
Premium leather
Fantastic condition throughout
The interior of this Bentley is as expected, simply sublime. Every inch was carefully designed and situated to provide the finest experience possible.
Beautiful, handcrafted leather seats with walnut trims, a recipe that's been used in luxury grand tourers since the beginning, forever aesthetically sophisticated and tasteful.
The outside world is simply forgotten once the doors are shut, double glazed windows block road noise and the stresses of business, you’re left with time to think, to unwind, to work on your terms.
There’s no blemishes, or signs of wear in this car, everything looks as good as it did when it first left the factory.
THE EXTERIOR
Minor wear throughout
Age and mileage related condition
As the pictures show, this car is showing some sign of its age.
The most noticeable is a scuff to the rear, while the rest are typical wear and dings acquired from its 96,000 miles, most of which is made up of stone chips and parking door dings.
These minor marks take nothing away from the luxury saloons appeal, this large, gentlemans club on wheels is an impressionable vehicle, it’s large and noticeable but not intrusive or repugnant.
THE MECHANICS
Serviced and health checked 2021
Runs and drives without issue
During our visit the car was manoeuvred without issue or fuss, it has been serviced by a mix of main dealer and specialists over its life, with the latest being in March 2021 and 250 miles ago by Bentley of Bristol.
Further work was also carried out at this time including a new starter battery and brakes plus an MOT to June 2022.
Since retirement the car is very rarely used with only a few hundred miles being carried out in the last three years.
SUMMARY
Arguably the best luxury saloon car money could buy in its day, adopting the performance of its GT Coupé sibling with added comfort and sophistication made this an unmatched motor.
One owner from new and a sublime interior in fantastic condition are an added appeal.

About Max Bids
The max bid process allows you to bid without any hassle.
Enter your maximum bid and we will then bid on your behalf to ensure you're the highest bidder - just enough to keep you in the lead and only up until your maximum.
Anti-sniping
Car & Classic prevent auction snipers from bidding in the last seconds to win an auction.
Auctions are extended by 3 minutes if anyone bids within the last 2 minutes to allow other bidders to react and counter-bid.
Auto-bidding increments
If your maximum bid is equal to or below the reserve price, your maximum bid will be applied in full if you are the highest bidder.
If you are the highest bidder and place a maximum bid above the reserve, we will automatically put in the reserve as your first bid.
Once the reserve has been met, Car & Classic will make sure you are the highest bidder using only the bidding increments stated below.
We will keep you in the lead up until your maximum bid OR the increment closest to your maximum bid, providing your maximum bid is enough to cover the increment value.

Automatically outbid immediately
When you place a max bid and are outbid immediately that means that another bidder has placed a max bid limit which is higher than yours.
You can bid again and we will use our automatic bid system to try and get you as the highest bidder.
Matching max bids
When there are two max bids of the same value, the one placed first remains the lead bidder.
Pre-authorisation
We may hold a pre-authorisation charge on your card until the end of the auction when the hold will be cancelled. If you win, we'll take a security deposit which counts towards the payment for the vehicle and isn't any extra cost to you.
What are pre-bids?
A pre-bid means you're able to place a bid before the official start of the auction.
You will be notified whether or not you are the highest bidder when the auction starts.
Problem with your bid
Bids are contractually binding. To help protect you, we have some rules in place if we think it's been mistyped. Please check and amend what you have entered.
