The Appeal
We can only pity the drivers of big, lumbering supercars as they watch Lotus’ featherweight S devour them in the rear view mirror. Where the standard car will maul them in the bends, the 932kg S has the performance to reel them in on the straights too.
From 2012 the S got the revised Toyota 2ZR-FE supercharged 1.8L 4cyl engine, good for 217bhp and exactly what is fitted to this canary yellow example. It is a really tidy example that has covered less than 39,000 miles from new in the hands of just three keepers.
The car is supplied with hard and soft tops and appears to have been factory fitted with the Touring package, which includes a/c and more comfortable seats. It is in good overall condition with just a few cosmetic points to note in photos. We’re told that it has been recently serviced by a Lotus specialist and it comes with lengthy MOT valid to March 2027 with no advisories.
The vendor says:
“Great fun to drive, I love this car.”
