1950 MG TD - restored to show standard
At its introduction in January 1950 the MG TD represented a major step forward compared to its predecessor. Although still retaining ' traditional sports car ‘appearance with separate headlamps and cut away doors, the TD boasted independent front suspension and rack and pinion steering which transformed the handling and gave a considerably more comfortable ride.
This example, dating from 1950, like the vast majority of TDs was originally a LHD export model. It has undergone a fastidious restoration which was completed around 4 years ago which included conversion to RHD, and less than 700 miles have been covered subsequently.
Presented to show standard, the MG sits on chrome wire wheels (the original steel wheels are available if required), and is finished in Old English White with new green leather upholstery. The car has a superb tan hood and full tonneau cover and drives exceptionally well.
Included on file is the correct workshop manual, parts list, and numerous bills plus information from the MGCC T Register.
