1974 Triumph Stag MK II. 3. 0 V8 Manual / Overdrive. Tahiti Blue with black leather upholstery and blue mohair hood. Supplied new to Lodge Riding School of Cheshire by F Mitchell (Nottm) Ltd Triumph dealers in Nottingham on 5th March 1974. This beautiful Triumph has been with its last owner for 8 years, since purchasing the car he has spent a further £25, 000 to make the car the stunning example you see today. No expense has been spared whilst in the last keepers care and the work carried out includes the following. A complete professional glass out repaint in Tahiti Blue. A brand new hood and frame supplied and fitted by Aldridge Trimming. Sherwood Restorations removed the entire interior and dashboard and was all totally refurbished, and all brightwork re-chromed. The car has upgraded dash panel, door cards, rear deck and seats all trimmed in leather. In 2019 Enginuity Triumph Specialists supplied a freshly reconditioned engine that had a total rebuild and this was fitted and has covered less than 1, 000 miles since. A Davies Craig electric water pump and fan controller was also fitted. The underside of the car is just as good as the top and is finished in body colour. Also with the car is a comprehensive history folder containing invoices for all of the work carried out as well as old mot certificates, original hand book and the all important Passport to Service with several stamps. There is really no substitute to the sound of a V8 and this Stag is no exception. Starting on the button and sounding amazing the car drives very well and having the more desirable manual gearbox.
