We are pleased to offer this fantastic Alfa Romeo GTV6 2. 5, original RHD UK supplied car which was first registered 30 January 1985.
Current mileage 125, 000 miles with extensive history and many invoices. Restoration photos archived at AJM Ltd. The mileage is principally accounted for by her use as a company vehicle by her Alfa-enthusiast first owner until 2006.
Finished in metallic silver, the car was completely repainted in 2012. Side window frames repainted in correct contrasting grey. Door, rear hatch and sunroof seals all in excellent condition. New rear hatch gas strut. Clear vinyl protection, virtually invisible, professionally applied to nose, front of bonnet and lower body sides.
Original black pinstripe cloth Recaro interior, black carpets and luxury carpet mats all in excellent condition. Original headlining, cleaned and in very good condition. Rare uncut door cards. Interior plastics, instruments and switchgear all in excellent codition.
Original equipment includes factory manual sunroof, high-pressure headlamp washers, twin electric mirrors. Period top-of-the-range Alpine 7284 FM radio-cassette unit all in excellent working order.
Front and rear bumpers in very good condition. Front spoiler and side trims in excellent condition. All original glass throughout, including front windscreen.
Nardi steering wheel and gearknob fitted plus a specially-commissioned steering wheel boss to enable a correct and relaxing seating position even for long distances.

Original 2. 5 litre engine, rebuilt in 1999 at 72k miles, regularly serviced since, fitted in 2012 with CSC tubular stainless steel exhaust manifolds, new centre box, and new Supersprint tailbox.
Original twin-plate clutch in good working order, slight clutch-bearing whirr when hot, only noticeable at idle or low speeds. Original gearbox with no syncro issues. Driveshaft couplings and supports replaced.
Front suspension completely rebuilt in 2012 with Alfa 105-style adjustable upper arms, suspension slightly lowered all round to reduce roll, improve the front camber angle and generally give her the sporting stance she deserves. The castor geometry has been optimised for steering feel. New front wheel bearings and propshaft couplings.
Front wheel arch shrouds fitted to protect the wings from impact damage and the build up of dirt.
Custom-made SZ-style 16" split rim alloy wheels by Image Wheels (UK), anodised on the inside, and with the outer rim ceramic-coated against corrosion. Fitted with Toyo Proxes 205/ 50 ZR tyres to give the same rolling diameter as standard. Original spare wheel and tyre.
New Bilstein gas dampers fitted front and rear in 2012.
Original Brembo alloy front brake calipers, cross-drilled and ventilated front discs, plus the original ATE inboard rear discs.
2017 major engine service (approx 2000 miles ago) included cambelt, tensioner and water pump change and replacement of all 12 valve stem seals.
Extensive detailing to engine bay with new HT cables, distributor cap and rotor arm, rubber boots for distributor and coil, new black silicon hose kit, replated or new hose clips, repainted brake servo, cam covers, plenum chamber, airbox, restored and repainted cooling fans, and many other replated brackets and fasteners, plus a set of new stickers.
Headlamp wiring harness upgraded with dip and main circuit relays and heavy duty cable. All electrics in excellent condition. Structural condition throughout is excellent, following periods of extensive restoration by AJM Ltd.
It is sold with rare original details such as the Owner's Handbook, manual window winder, tool case with wheelbrace, plus 2 sets of keys.
This example has been extensively restored, carefully maintained and improved, as well as regularly used and enjoyed. In the current ownership it has always been kept in a dry garage, never used on salty roads, and only very rarely in the wet.
