Ford Cortina 1600 Deluxe, 1970
A well looked after car, even has a copy of the original bill of sale from 1970.
It was totally stripped in the 90’s and completely sprayed black, including all of the inside areas. At the same time it had any rust areas repaired, obvious welded areas are spare wheel well and inner wheel tubs. Chassis is solid and looks untouched.
Car looks nice and straight on the outside, only main areas that will need looking at in due time are the front wings. Previous repairs to the door end sections are starting to come through, this can be seen in the photos.
Interior is fantastic, first time that I have seen this colour. Apparently, the Swedish cars always had better features, another feature on this car that is very rare are the little side opening smoker’s windows. Seats, dashboard and roof lining are in fantastic condition, only the carpet isn’t original.
Mechanically it is very good, drives really well. It has just had a recent service including new rear dampers, everything works as it should and is ready to go.
Included is a copy of the original bill of sale, owner’s manual, a load of receipts and two sets of keys.
