1954 MGTF 1250 XPAG Chassis number TF6061 built the 18th of June 1954 . Exported to North America . Factory colour Red . Imported and converted to RHD December 2009 . Over the past 9 years an on going restoration has been undertaken to the beautiful MG TF we present today . Repainted , Majority of bright work re chromed . New carpets , Recovered side screens and new chrome luggage rack . This example is not only pretty but I am pleased to say mechanically excellent having undergone the following works since September 2016 @ a mileage of 62, 041 , Engine removed and rebuilt , New mains , Big end bearings , 30" bore , New pistons/ rings , New oil pump , New inlet and exhaust guides and valves , Valve stem seals , Unleaded compatible , New oil seals and gaskets , New water pump , New rebuilt distributor and all new ignition components , Rebuilt SU carburetors and air filters , Complete new clutch , 5 new tyres and to much to list . All supporting invoices supplied , Costs from 2014 in excess of £7000 . Circa 660 miles covered since work completed . Turn the key and pull the starter and the 1250 cc XPAG engine is superb . A trip round the lanes confirms excellent oil pressure with no blue smoke from the exhaust , No overheating noted and the clutch , gearbox and brakes are all spot on . An extremely pleasant TF to drive . Supplied with V5C , MOT not required but done and expires June 2019 , MG T Register build data and known history , Supporting invoices and photographs .
